Casa del Corazon Villa

Casa del Corazon is just an hour and a half south of Cancun, but a world away in tropical tranquility. These romantic beach bungalows are perfect if you want to put some magic in your Caribbean vacation. Step out your door and dig your toes in the sand. You are surrounded by tropical greenery at Casa del Corazon, that is until you venture a couple steps out to the beach. Then it's the wide blue spaces of Soliman Bay and the Caribbean. And there aren't many people around to spoil it either. This location is private and peaceful, perfect for those who want to kick back in a gorgeous spot without the crowds. You can lounge around the swimming pool or go kayaking and snorkeling right from your beach side front door.

The Casa del Corazon beach bungalows are environmentally friendly providing 24 hour un-interrupted electricity from the utility's pole power with solar panels and storage batteries as a backup. Three casas: Corazon 1, Corazon 2 and Corazon 3 are on the sand and have fully equipped kitchens, spacious bedrooms and private bathrooms. Site plan map 

Corazon 1 has two full bedrooms, perfectly suited for two couples, and it also has a small loft with two single beds. The first level has a bedroom with a king bed. French doors open to the living room with a nice couch and more French doors to the exterior patio and beach. There is a full kitchen, dining area and bathroom on the first level. From the exterior patio a spiral stairway goes up to the rooftop bedroom with a sea view, queen bed and private bathroom.

Corazon 2 has two full levels; the lower level has a living room with a queen size sofa/futon, full kitchen, Bali-style bathroom and a furnished exterior deck. And there's a private path with convenience rinse shower leading to its own beach front palapa. The 2nd level is the master bedroom suite with a king bed, nice furnishings, another queen size sofa/futon, private bath and another living room with TV, DVD. You will enjoy the master suite furnished ocean view terrace. Max occupancy 4 but better designed for 2-3 people.

Corazon 3 has two full levels as well plus the same comfortable multiple living spaces. It is set back from the beach slightly from #1 & 2. Corazon 3 can sleep 4 adults comfortably with a queen size bed on each level.

The Zen Palapita is a one room bungalow made entirely of wood, with screened louvered window, ceiling fan, a king bed, bar fridge, coffee maker, some essentials, private patio and an adjoining bathroom. The tropical greenery surrounds all these bungalows and all but the palapita have a view of the sea. There is a built-in gas grill with tiled counter-top for general use and cookouts.

Your hosts Andy and Rosa are legendary in Soliman Bay, and are some of the nicest people you could hope to meet. They take care of their guests like they're old friends and want them to feel welcome, so they provide kitchen essentials and usually a couple bonus items until you have a chance to get to the area market (nearby Akumal or Tulum). Haity and Jose are the daily caretakers and keep the gardens and bungalow interiors in tip-top condition.

Casa del Corazon has sea kayaks for paddling around Soliman Bay. Snorkeling the coral heads is another favorite activity for the energetic. This is a delightful and romantic place to spend your honeymoon or anniversary, and it's also excellent for either one or two couples who want their own space, and still be able to share the fun with each other. Many have enjoyed Casa del Corazon and many return here again and again. Without a doubt, Casa del Corazon in one of the best on the beach!
